I am a professional sports photographer  based in Salford in the North West of England, a region with  a rich tradition of some of the best Lacrosse clubs in the country. I have photographed lacrosse –“lax” at grass roots level locally, BUCS ( both genders ) and international lacrosse games ( including the World Cup, Manchester and the British Nationals a couple of years ago.) Lacrosse is a fast and exciting game to watch but yet can be very challenging technically to photograph well. I have had my images published in national and international lax magazines.

I specialise in supporting local and regional not-for-profit sports organisations, clubs and teams providing copious high quality action images, player portraits and team photographs on a shared rights basis. I am mindful that amateur clubs may struggle for funding and yet would perhaps very much like to be more proactive in promoting their game and hence my coverage of a game or event can usually be negotiated for a token fee. Shared rights means that for a one off-fee all the images can be copied and shared amongst players and made promotional use of. It is the ideal way to build up your profile on social media or club website.

I aim to help empower clubs and teams in the area  to be more proactive in promoting their clubs and organisations interests through website, social media and the press and specialist magazines where great photographs are the most effective way of getting positive messages across and therefore attracting the most interest. Effectively even, on one visit, this can give a large number of very useful images at very little cost.

Further examples of my work can be found via this web page link . It includes coverage of women’s Varsity Lacrosse in Sheffield.

I carry  up to date full disclosure CRB clearance documentation, I take  child protection issues very seriously  where a club hires me to cover junior games and development work and do not attend any junior event unless I am booked and where parental consent has been given.
