Dutch international defender , Laren midfielder, Wieke Dijkstra  has urged fans , on her club website, to come and support the Dames 1 in their crucial away play off game to be held this Saturday at the Den Bosch hockey club complex at ‘s-Hertogenbosch .



Laren failed to make their mark against the league leaders last weekend but Wieke is confident they can pull it back this Saturday and make it through to Sunday’s final.

The full game will be televised live on NOS from 13.05 CET  this Saturday and , if Laren can pull off a win, then  the game will also be televised live on  Sunday, June 5 from 13.15 hours. Philip Kooke, the Belgium born Dutch sports journalist-commentator will provide live commentary.

Wieke’s team mate ,Naomi van As, also spoke about her disappointment at the first play off last weekend when Laren lost 2-1 but is very much up for this weekend’s tussle and  feels there is still everything to play  for and expects her team to pull out all the stops as it is “all or nothing time.” “We just have to be smart and hard headed, smarter in the press”
